THE TWISTED TREE — Pick Pic Of The Week
Eons ago … when I first started going to Wash U, I noticed a tree on the block of Skinker between Waterman and Pershing. I must have passed this tree a gazillion times over the years. Couldn’t help it, because it was right next to my bus stop. I always meant to take a picture of the tree, but never did until a couple of weeks ago. With Halloween fast approaching, I decided to finally give it its due by featuring it in my Pick Pic Of The Week post in not one but four pics. This tree really deserves to be seen from all sides. Enjoy!

To show how unobservant I can be, I don’t even know what species the tree is.

Fabulous tree–and perfect for Halloween, too!
I wonder what causes the tree to grow like that. And also how old the three is.
