Today is June 20 with only 2-hours and 30-minutes of Spring left before Summer smolders herself upon us. Sure, it’s only 94F outside right now! Anyway, the 30-DoC Calendar says the theme for today is PLAID. This is really great, because the only things I have in the house that comes anywhere near plaid is a moldy slice of Swiss cheese in the fridge, a pair of sexy red bikini briefs with plaid trim I reserve for special occasions, and my old plaid high school tie that has been growing old on the tie-rack in the closet for more years than I want to count. Now I’m not going to eat the cheese. And since Word Press would surely declare a photo of me wearing the bikini briefs as porn, I guess we’re stuck with the old plaid tie.

Surely, you didn’t expect me to put on a dress shirt on a 94F afternoon. Notice that I did wear a color coordinated T-shirt. This was not my original high school tie.  That one was a pre-tied clip-on, but I had to replace it when it fell off on my sloppy joe on the cafeteria food line on day. It was the same plaid as this one, but I had to learn to tie this one in the pre-dawn high school mornings of yesteryear.
