Going through my mother’s photos, I’ve found some of the arch! I guess she and my father traveled through your city when they were romping around in the early 1980s.
And with any luck, they’ll have the grand mall that Eero Saarinen imagined in 1947 running from the riverfront to 18th Street completed by the 50th anniversary of the Arch in three years.
