MIDNIGHT SNACKERS
I was just getting ready to compose a midnight blog, when I was overcome by an overpowering urge for a midnight snack. Not just any midnight snack, but a specific PB&J Snacker that is light, crunchy and totally snack-a-licious. Some years ago I got hooked on Carr’s Table Water ® Crackers. As they note on their packaging, the crackers are thin, crispy, backed to a golden brown and go great with crunchy peanut butter and mixed fruit jelly.
Unfortunately, just as I was getting ready to bite into my first treat … someone one nosed into the kitchen.
And began drooling on the floor.
How could I resist those sad puppy eyes? So I offered her the last Snacker on the plate.
But like a potato chip … who can stop with just one? So, I put another one together for her.
Mlle. Renee is such a dainty diner — but until she learns how to say, “Please, sir, may I have another?” — she only gets the same amount as I do.
Oh, by the way, Sunday is NATIONAL DOG DAY 2012 … guess I’ll have to make her a couple of PBJ Snackers.

OMG, her face in that first picture! Priceless. You are right. She can’t be resisted.
