ON THE SEVENTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS …
Snow is already falling as the leading edge of a winter storm moves into the area. The amazing thing is the temp is above freezing … 35F! The weather wizards are saying it will continue accumulating throughout the day and night and into tomorrow. Thank God the larder is full and the meatloaf I made yesterday will last for three more days.
My immediate problem is the fact that my Mensa Puzzle-A-Day Calendar has reached the final page for 2012 …
Thankfully, my friends and relatives (in an attempt to keep my brain percolating) have seen fit to supply me with replacement calendars for the new year this Christmas. My dilemma now is which one takes its place on my kitchen table. Then again, I could leave all three on the table, and then I’d have brain food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stay tuned SMILINGBAGEL and see if I can supply you with an Origami-A-Day for 365 days this year. Hey, I guess that is my New Year’s resolution.
