Weekly Photo Challenge: Illumination
SHARE A PICTURE THAT MEANS ILLUMINATION TO YOU
Last summer the Missouri Botanical Garden in Saint Louis featured a special exhibit of giant illuminated Chinese Lanterns. Awesome by day, they became awe-inspiring when they were illuminated after dark. The above lantern was created from re-used medicine bottles. The exhibit was a sellout every evening.
Very illuminating!

And beautifully colorful. A good contrast to the fog post!
The digital camera has really change photography, hasn’t it?
Definitely! Film is beautiful, but when I think of all the great shots I THOUGHT I had only to get my photos back and find them blurred, poorly lit, etc. Digital is the amateur’s best friend.
I regret all the years I shot everything on slide film. Now I’ve got stacks of slide trays, but no projector.
