DAILY CALENDAR CHALLENGE #033 – FEBRUARY 2
NUTZ! Tearing the calendar pages off this morning wasn’t a very momentous occasion.
#1 THE ORIGAMI CALENDAR CHALLENGE gave me the equivalent of a blank page for the Weekend Saturday/Sunday Combo page.
Boring! Besides my mother told me all about scams and cons when I was a wee tiny boy. Actually, they didn’t have the internet way back then, but she said “You never get something for nothing.” Hold on to that thought for a minute.
#2 MENSA PUZZLE CALENDAR February 2 half MADDIE & JOE PUZZLE
OK, while I was expecting a two puzzle weekend page, I wasn’t expecting algebra with Maddie and Joe’s stones. You don’t spring algebra on a person in the early morning hours. But since I seldom shirk my Puzzle Challenge responsibilities, I decided to combine puzzle #1 and #2.
I folded an origami dunce cap for getting stoned by failing to solve the Maddie and Joe stone distribution problem. And it’s a rather neat little dunce cap at that. Feel free to enter a nya-nya-nya-na comment if you did solve the Maddie and Joe problem.
#3 – The PAGE-A-DAY PUZZLE CALENDAR – WORD CROSS
Since this is a Weekend Puzzle that calls for a two-word answer, I decided to solve half today and save the second half for Sunday.
Until tomorrow,
THAT’S ALL, FOLKS!

Oh, I stopped trying to solve the math puzzle at “If Maddie were to give Joe six stones.” Because I’m all, what kinds of stones are they? Why is she giving them away? I like stones. Maddie never gives me stones. It’s all about Joe. Let him find his own damn stones!
My sentiments exactly! I didn’t even check to see what the answer was.
Ha ha!
