DAILY CALENDAR CHALLENGE #056 – FEBRUARY 25
Today challenge was to fold a fish that was either a salmon or a pollack. Or since the folding paper was a red plaid, it might have been a red plaid snapper. Gee, I could get a job writing jokes for Seth McFarland. I used the Fish Base I made on Saturday learning how to turn the Kite Base into the Fish Base.
Being totally inept when it comes to machinery I couldn’t answer 1. Across or 1 Down. But since I knew the answers to the other six questions, I was able to solve the puzzle. The across answers were camomitgonekin which gives you the down answers cogamokminiten. I actually fared better here than I did on my Oscar ballot. I would have had a 12/12 split if it wasn’t for the dumb TIE award. So my final score was 11.5 to 12.5. Oh, well, there’s always next year.
Don’t let the pristine completed puzzle fool you. I filled in the squares with a soft lead pencil, that’s why you can’t see my many, many repeated erasures. The left side of the grid was really tricky.
