WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: LOST IN THE DETAILS

This challenge is about getting lost in the details. Once you’ve found a subject you want to photograph, challenge yourself to work a little further into the scene.

SHARE A PHOTO THAT MEANS LOST IN THE DETAILS TO YOU!DETAILS

Sometimes you even have to lay down on the ground so you don’t cast any shadows on your subject …  and move in close enough to get that fiber optic look of the blossom.

  1. Wow, that is very fiber optic. I think the most enjoyable thing about some of my plant/flower photos is that when I put them on the computer, I realize I’ve been photo bombed by a lizard who I never saw when I was shooting the picture. I think it’s because I can’t shoot with glasses, so some of the details are kind of blurry to me until I look at the photos.

    • Since I had early cataract surgery thanks to asthma meds, I usually take may glasses off when I work on the computer because my vision is almost 20/20 at computer viewing distance. So I always find things in the photos I didn’t see when I shot them. Also with 16.1 mega pixels I can bring out and enhance more details than ever before.
