  1. They are so pretty, how did you get so close… we have a lot of finches and titmouses here … would they be titmice? And I dif not giggle when I said it!

    • Or maybe titmeece? The Eurasian Tree Sparrow are almost extinct in Europe and Asia and now the largest colonies are in several spots around St. Louis. One of them being my backyard. I have two tall maples in my yard and they like to nest in maple trees. For how they got here, check my earlier post http://wp.me/p1e2fO-ya and I used the telephoto lens from my deck.
