DAILY CALENDAR CHALLENGE #110 – APRIL 20

#1 THE ORIGAMI CALENDAR CHALLENGE – SATURDAY EARTH DAY WARMUP

DSC06611  Well, this weekend’s calendar anticipates the arrival of another EARTH DAY. I’m all for Earth Day, but it really does do much in an origami way this weekend. So I’ve decided to do my origami salute to Earth Day by featuring two of the most important things to recognize on the earth.

KIDS AND FLOWERS

For flowers I decided to do another version of the pin wheel using a sheet of floral folding paper I’ve been saving for a special day. For kids I’m featuring with the most charming little girl on the face of the earth for Saturday … my great-niece Nichole who just celebrated her first birthday. Yes, another Aries. who really does rule.DSC06628

#2 THE MENSA PUZZLE CALENDAR – SATURDAY YOGA MATHDSC06615a

Do the math if you’re so inclined. I don’t do math on weekends … and just to let you know that a lack of math is not a family trait, my nephew is still in Lagos teaching math to high school kids.

#3 THE PAGE-A-DAY PUZZLE – PHONETIC WORDPLAYDSC06610Your option, you can work it Saturday or Sunday, but I won’t give the answer until Sunday.
