DAILY CALENDAR CHALLENGE #117 – APRIL 27

IT’S THE WEEKEND AGAIN!

#1 THE ORIGAMI CALENDAR CHALLENGE – SATURDAY ROWBOAT REDO!

After I had posted my Friday origami challenge, I realized that I had made a mistake in my folding. I thought I knew more than the origami master who had created the rowboat fold.

Notice that the prow and the bow do not join correctly. Also only one side of the interior is printed, while both side should be the   same as the exterior. Since we always get short shrift when it comes to origami projects on the weekend, I decided to redo the Friday challenge.

See, it goes together correctly now!DSC06855

And both interior sides have the same green zebra stripe as the outside. Maybe that’s not zebra stripe, but woodland stream camouflage.

#2 THE MENSA PUZZLE CALENDAR – SATURDAY HALF: ALPHA STATESDSC06843

Not to worry, I’ll have the answers by the time I post the Sunday half.

Actually, I don’t have to wait, because I know the answers …

I’m saving this one so I have something to work on tomorrow morning.
