DAILY CALENDAR CHALLENGE #125 – MAY 5, 2013

#1 THE ORIGAMI CALENDAR CHALLENGE – BUT NOTHING TO DO ON SUNDAY

OK, after completing the weekend challenge by successfully folding the BOAT BASE …DSC06956

I couldn’t find anything in the Origami Encyclopedia I could morph it into without sneaking a peek at next week’s calendar pages. It does look like some kind of bug though. So here’s a couple of my faves from the first quarter of the year.

#2 THE MENSA MATH PUZZLE OF THE WEEK – SUNDAY HALF

DSC06947

Do you really think I’m going to sit around figuring how much each collected individually? If they were really gracious ladies they’d just turn the money in and proudly say … WE collected $1,600! Besides, I’m going to Taco Bell and celebrate the sinking of the Hellmann’s boat off the coast of Mexico.

#3 THE PAGE-A-DAY PUZZLE CALENDAR – WORD CROSSDSC06950

And here’s a clue … the green square is an I! Good luck.

AND NOW, TIME OUT FOR A BIT OF SUNDAY CULTURE…

I now can actually say, “I’ve looked at art from both sides now.”DSC06738Paul Cézanne — The Artist’s Mother

and

Marie Cézanne, the Artist’s Sister on the other side.
