DAILY CALENDAR CHALLENGE #146 – MAY 26, 2013
#1 THE ORIGAMI CALENDAR CHALLENGE – DÉJÀ VU WEEKEND ALL OVER AGAIN
A pink, spring flowered version of a baby elephant at that. That left me with only one option for my Sunday challenge … to top what I had done on Saturday and fold A BIG ADULT ELEPHANT! Ok, when you’re working with six-inch squares of folding paper how big can a BIG ADULT ELEPHANT really be. Not much bigger, but I did have to use two six-inch squares of folding paper. How about that, my second and third origami elephants in a single weekend. DUMBO and JUMBO! In case you’re a newcomer to the SMILING BAGEL first origami elephant I folded was rather tiny, but that was because it was folded from our shrinking dollar.
Guess I have to name him BUCKO!
Hopefully, you were able to solve the Saturday Half. But if you didn’t, this one is really easy since they practically give it away in the puzzle description.
AND THE SUNDAY ANSWERS ARE:
snac & sebut
And this one is just a little bit harder than Saturday’s Mensa Gridlock Crossword.
AND THE ANSWERS ARE:
[A] 1-limb, 2-area, 3-cork, 4-knee
[D] 1-lack, 2-iron, 3-mere, 4-bake
