DAILY CALENDAR CHALLENGE #157 – JUNE 6, 2013

#1 THE ORIGAMI CALENDAR CHALLENGE – PINK MOUSEDSC07418Guess it’s time for a new addition to the Origami Menagerie …DSC07419

DSC07426 OK, I confess, the mouse was a two-day folding project, but you know I can’t leave a project half done. So I’ll come up with something else to post here tomorrow. Now I need a name for the little creature.

#2  THE MENSA PUZZLE CALENDAR – TOO MANY WORDSDSC07428You know that any puzzle that needs that many words to describe has to be a math problem that will never be taken seriously around here. Nuf, said.

#3 THE PAGE-A-DAY PUZZLE CALENDAR – FILM CUTSDSC07429

I know that FILM CUT puzzles are next to impossible to solve online, so I haven’t been posting them. But the solution of this one had an interesting twist with a video clip to watch. The answer was WILHELM SCREAM.

The man behind the scream was Shelby F. “Sheb” Wooley (April 10, 1921 – September 16, 2003). He  was a character actor and singer, best known for his 1958 novelty song “The Purple People Eater”.
