THE WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: The World Through Your Eyes

IN A NEW POST CREATED SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A PICTURE OF THE WORLD THROUGH YOUR EYES.

Earlier this week I actually spent the afternoon sitting in a comfortable lawn chair with my new camera capturing the many things I saw around me. One hundred and thirty pictures later I went to my computer and downloaded the picture I had shot. Yes, there were a lot of below par photos, but there were also some dynamic keepers.

Here’s series of which I’m most proud  …DSCF0138

  1. Nice shots. What kind of camera did you get?

    • It was the FUJIFILM Finepix S8200 w/an electronic view finder in addition to the 3″ monitor screen. I’ve tried the monitor screen only cameras, but I have to have a camera I can put up to my eye. And I didn’t want to shell out what they were asking for the digital SLRs. It’s 16mp with Wide 24mm lens/ 40X zoom. It was also on sale a Best Buy. It also has a 130 page / English only instruction manual I had to print out on the computer. The handy small manual only had 25 pages.

  2. Lovely shots of the squirrel!

  3. Congrats on the new camera! I love photos of squirrels, so big thumbs up.
