The Art Museum just released the video of the Opening Day Of The East Building. I thought it might be a nice companion piece to my two recent posts about my visit there.

Also here’s a tour produced by St. Louis Today

About Robert Edler

... a somewhat unknown and/or imaginary actor, writer, director, producer, photographer, friend, brother, uncle and all round good fellow that you really should get to know because he lives with that most glamorous fourpaw Mademoiselle Renee. (Mlle. Renee for short)

  1. The museum’s contemporary collection is wonderful. You’re lucky to be able to see the complete collection. I know by the time I visit one day, some of the collection will be back in storage because of special installations. It’s always good to see new art, but sometimes here I wish I could see some of my favorite works that are currently stored or on loan.

It never gets old to see people excited about visiting museums and seeing art.

    • It’s amazing the works they’ve been able to put on display in the main building that were in storage. I was impressed by a group of Degas’ pastel sketches and drawings that were fantastic.
