MY DAILY CALENDAR…DAY 203 – JULY 22, 2013

MY CALENDAR FOR MONDAY/DAY 203 – July 22, 2013: As for Sunday, lets just say, “I frittered the day away.”   I started several things, but didn’t complete one of them.  I did watch an entire episode of THAT GIRL from its opening season. OMG, was prime time TV in 1966 really this bad? I also cooked a Chinese dish for dinner. Alright, it actually was one of P. F. Chang’s Frozen entrees … sweet and savory beef and noodles. I did have to stir it in the skillet, which must count for something. In short it, was a dreary, weary day … the first of three such days that are kicking off this week. This will lead into a drop in the temps through the end of July.

MY ORIGAMI CALENDAR FOR MONDAY – PINWHEELS:

To be honest I actually made several pinwheels one weekend when the calendar didn’t offer any challenges. The folding technique differed slightly than the directions on this page. It allows you to alternate the two sides of the paper on the four blades. Since I was using two color paper today, I used my original method which is the same up until Step 7. DSCF0611

The result is a bi-color pinwheel!

The Mensa Calendar also had a puzzle that might be fun …DSCF0613

Ō, IT COMES DOWN TO THAT!

You have to answer the ten questions with a word the ends with a single long Ō.  JellŌ and dominŌ are not two of the answers.

Just decided that the Demon Family must have something in common with the tribbles in the old Star Trek Series … they just seen to keep multiplying!

  1. Love the Demon Family. I think they’re becoming your signature animals–though there’s NOTHING demonic about you, I think! 😉
