MY DAILY CALENDAR FOR MONDAY, DAY 230 OF 2013: Noting new to report other than I am now suffering  from dish pan hands, scullery maids knees and dust congested nasal passages. I am currently in the midst of the pre-fall house cleaning marathon. In other words, I trying to catch up with all the things I’ve been avoiding ever since I failed to start the spring house cleaning marathon. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Because of Mlle. Renee I do vacuum the carpeting at least twice a week — otherwise the rugs would look like a giant wooly worm. Also I do have to Swifter Wet Jet the kitchen floor on a daily basis because she has a tendency to remove choice morsels from her dinner bowl and save them as the final things she eats. At least that is why I thinks she does that. Anyway, I should have everything Spic and Span by Wednesday. Does anyone even use Spic And Span anymore?

DSCF0951 Musically, a CORNET is a short stubby band instrument resembling by smaller that a trumpet. Except in Great Britain where it is a thin waffle wafer rolled into a cone shape in which to serve ice cream. They just couldn’t say ice cream cone like the rest of us. By the way, the first ice cream cone was invented in 1904 at the Saint Louis World’s Fair, when an ice cream vender ran out of serving dishes. He was lucky to have a nearby baker who came up with the idea of making an edible dish.DSCF0953

Now I’m craving ice cream!

About Robert Edler

... a somewhat unknown and/or imaginary actor, writer, director, producer, photographer, friend, brother, uncle and all round good fellow that you really should get to know because he lives with that most glamorous fourpaw Mademoiselle Renee. (Mlle. Renee for short)

  1. Smart baker. I love ice cream cones.

I don’t even know if they make Spic and Span, much less if anyone uses it. I can still recall the smell, though!
