MY DAILY CALENDAR…DAY 263 – SEPTEMBER 20, 2013

MY DAILY CALENDAR FOR FRIDAY, DAY 263 OF 2013: Rainy daze and goofing off! No, make that taking a personal holiday. Since Mlle. Renee and I couldn’t go our of doors for most of the day without getting wet. (And Mlle. Renee is not really keen about getting wet … except for getting dried with a warm, fluffy towel.)  To be honest, I actually spent the day watching TV.

1) First an hour watching how the sands in the hour-glass and the twisted plot lines of The Days Of Our Lives managed to be resolved in just sixty minutes.

2) Then I watched a movie that had been setting on my To Watch shelf for the past six months.perks

It was pretty good, and I gave it four stars! * * * *  Best performance went to Ezra Miller as Patrick. But I missed what Aunt Helen did to screw Charlie up. Guess I should have read the book first. Or maybe I missed that part when I had to answer the robo-call from the manager of the Medi-Alert shipping room telling me I had to give them some information before they could ship my FREE Medi-Alert.  He was not a nice man at all.

3) Then I watched the news at FOUR, FIVE and SIX.  Where I couldn’t figure out why in the hell the members of Congress should still receive their pay after they managed to totally shut down the government. Can’t Congress be impeached in mass for blatant stupidity?

4) MY ORIGAMI CHALLENGE: dumbI finished up my afternoon by not working today’s non-origami puzzle. Really, who buys a birthday card without an envelope? Besides, the USPS would never accept a leopard print folded envelope! Especially a green one!

5) Then I baked a personal sized frozen pizza for my dinner. Renee likes the crunchy crusts. Hell, she can smell melted cheese a mile away.pizza

  1. The crust is my favorite part, so Renee and I would have to share.

I didn’t know you’re a Days watcher. I used to be, but then it got too ridiculous. I missed the everybody’s dead-no they’re not period.

  2. Also, I read The Perks of Being a Wallflower but haven’t seen the movie yet. I enjoyed it but don’t remember a thing about it!
