MY DAILY CALENDAR…DAY 268 – SEPTEMBER 25, 2013

MY DAILY CALENDAR FOR WEDNESDAY, DAY 268 OF 2013: I actually completed all the lawn cutting, trimming and cleanup completed on Tuesday. Guess that leaves the laundry for today.  So, I was expecting eves to show up overnight and do it for me? You should know by now that they only make shoes.

After two days of the new television, the only new show I’ve watched was Sleepy Hollow. Washington Irving was a better story-teller. Both NCIS shows  are groping for plots they haven’t used before, and failing. Castle should head back to New York. And Bones’ secret plot device is boring. And I don’t think anything can save DADS. And Andy Sandburg should have stayed on SNL.

THE ORIGAMI CHALLENGE OF THE DAY – SHRIMP:DSC07747

As you sit down to munch on your shrimp cocktail, it’s not nice to consider that your shrimp is a distant relative to the cockroach. So don’t be upset if my origami shrimp looks more like a cockroach.DSC07746

Hey, my DNA test says my ancestry is 75% Scandinavian, 22% Eastern European and 3% unknown. As far back as I have been able to track the family tree, all I’ve been able to find are lots of German, Austrian,  and Polish ancestors, and one who was French. I’m sure there has to be a Viking there somewhere, but I know they probably were really all Huns.

About Robert Edler

... a somewhat unknown and/or imaginary actor, writer, director, producer, photographer, friend, brother, uncle and all round good fellow that you really should get to know because he lives with that most glamorous fourpaw Mademoiselle Renee. (Mlle. Renee for short)

  2. I don’t eat lobster or crayfish, so I don’t care if they’re compared to roaches. But did you have to say that about shrimp?
