MY DAILY CALENDAR – DAY 305 – NOVEMBER 1, 2013
MY DAILY CALENDAR FOR FRIDAY, DAY 305 OF 2013: Well, I sure hope everyone survived Halloween last night. Not the spooks and goblins, but the stormy weather that was making its way through the south and midwest. I heard there was flooding in Houston and other parts of Texas and locally we were under a tornado watch. But by midnight the stormy weather was through our area and moving to the east coast. Also that spirit that was moving the birthday balloon around the house all day yesterday apparently departed, too. Either that or the balloon string got caught on the pillows of the love seat in the living room. And anyone who stayed overnight in the house, found this waiting for them at breakfast.
I forgot to post the photos of some of my most forgettable Halloween costumes in my Halloween wrapup yesterday. They were …
Sister Mary Mean
and Mickey Me!
Guess who has to get the leaf blower out once they dry out a bit?
TODAY ORIGAMI CHALLENGE – NAPKIN CANDLE:I guess they really didn’t want to tax us after the very difficult tiger fold from the last two days. I used a paper napkin because I didn’t feel like ironing the cloth napkin.
AND BEFORE I FORGET: A friend of mine who has a real crush on Channing Tatum gave me a copy of GI JOE 2 for my birthday. It was the most confusing film I never finished watching. But it included a mail-in coupon for a FREE set of GI JOE dog tags, and I can’t resist sending in for anything that’s FREE. Well, they came in the mail yesterday.
Now my girl has a real set of dog tags!
THE WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: Today’s WPC theme was EERIE, and I really don’t have any photos that fall into that category. Well, I thought I did, but who’s going to believe that I saw a GIANT reflected in the windows of the Blue Cross building?
