MY DAILY CALENDAR – DAY 314 – NOVEMBER 10, 2013

MY DAILY CALENDAR FOR SUNDAY, DAY 314 OF 2013: Remember what my back yard looked like after last week’s rain storm?

“Les Feuilles Tombées”

Well, today was the warm day before the snow hits tomorrow afternoon. So I made like a hairdresser this afternoon and went out and gave the back lawn a blow job.DSC08208

Pretty good cleanup, but that did keep a couple of straggler leaves from messing the lawn all up again.  The cleared leaves will naturally be recycled over winter along the back fence.

STILL MORE WEEKEND STREET OBSERVATIONS:DSC08199

Apparently, the local METRO System thinks their passengers don’t have the smarts to avoid walking into the end panels of the bus stops. I don’t think printing WALL  on the WALL is going to stop them.

Here’s a clever ad that is currently being posted on the sides of local busses. Take one quick look and tell me what you read.DSC08204

Did you see OUCHIES or OUCHLESS? Not to worry, most people ask read OUCHIES.

THE HOUSEKEEPER RETURNS:  After I finished sweeping the lawn, I came in the house and started on the house …

DSC08211  Trust me, I would never be able to get a job at one of those places that are sticklers for the direction in which their rugs are swept.DSC08212

But I always cut my lawn in perfectly straight rows!

Since I did such great work today, I treated myself to an ice cream sandwich for lunch.DSC08209

And I made it myself!
