MY DAILY CALENDAR – DAY 340 – DECEMBER 6, 2013
MY DAILY CALENDAR FOR FRIDAY, DAY 340 OF 2013: Would you believe that the worst of the giant snow storm that was forecast for yesterday and today actually ended up moving east to the south of most of the metro area. Yes, we did get a bit of sleet right before midnight on Thursday follow by sprinkle of snow. That was followed by a light snow late this morning and over the afternoon. But the two-day total accumulation in West Walnut Manor didn’t even reach the one inch mark. South of the city there was a four to six-inch accumulation with even more as the storm moved into Tennessee and Kentucky and further east. So now, we have to wait for the third part of the storm to drift in sometime on Sunday. BUT, it is as cold as NOME right now [17F] and dropping. Here’s some snow pictures I took last night.
The photos aren’t that great, I only posted them to give people who never see any snow a chance to ooh and aah.
