MY DAILY CALENDAR FOR TUESDAY, DAY 351 OF 2013: Currently under construction. OK, so I’m having trouble completing today’s origami challenge. Today hasn’t been a very good day for me. I got up early (9:00) to avoid the holiday rush at the hair style emporium, and everything that could possibly go wrong did. First, I couldn’t find my glasses. Have you ever tried to find your glasses by touch and feel? Though it does help a little if you turn the lights on. Anyway, I didn’t leave the house until 11:15, and when I arrived at the CLIP JOINT I  found a full house of style craving would be clippies ahead of me. Also, none of the regular stylists were working today. What, did the entire style crew decide to go Christmas shopping today?  I knew I should have turned around to return another day, but I decided to hope for the best … the best being not to get the short rotund  stylist with the purple hair.  Why beat around the bush, you know how this is going to end. When my time for the cut came up, Ms. Purple was on the receiving end. While she was short-changed in stature, Ms. Purple was more than amply rewarded in the ta-ta department. Unfortunately, no one had ever advised her on how to cover them up. I’m quite sure she had to stand up on tip toe in order to cut the hair on the top of my head. And everytime she did, her mighty orbs were shoved into my face. I don’t embarass easily, but I really was at a loss for a way to politely mention the situation. So I pretended I was meditating. Oh, life! It has it’s ups and downs and bouncing boobs.

I really had a hard time working on the fold techneque for this project. Originally, I planned to fold it using gold foil paper. But after quite a few bad starts, I went back to plain white paper.DSC08609

The angel can use a bit more fine detail work. So, I might give it another try after I take  a little nap.DSC08612

Today wasn’t the first time I’ve had a problem folding a challenge. Occasionally, some of them have even been framed.

Drat! Where’s that cat?
