DAY 2 OF THE NEW YEAR OR THE RESIDENT CURMUDGEON LOOKS AT LIFE

And this is the high and low point of my day!

MLLE. RENEE SEZ:  FOUR PAWS DOWN!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

“TAKE MY ADVICE, READ A BOOK!”

You could blame it on my lingering cold, or the fact that I now have a stiff knee, or the snow, or the single digit temps. Or that I had to clean the snow and ice off of Renee’s paws four times today. Or the fact that I’m becoming a curmudgeon!

  1. Reading a book is always good advice especially for this cold, brutal weather. Pick a good one. 🙂

    • Yeah, they say we’re headed for the coldest below zero temps in 10 to 20 years. Also anywhere from 6 to 15 inches of snow. I’ve also got my Kindle reader fully charged in case the power lines fall. I also have 200 books on the Kindle of every possible genre. Renee likes Elaine Viets … especially stories that involve the vet boyfriend and dogs.

  2. I need to load some more books on my Nook. Renee always has the best ideas.
