FOR MY SATURDAY, WEEKEND = WEAK END

It’s Saturday evening, and I’m too pooped to POP! When I woke up this morning I said, ” I think I’ll do a little house cleaning.”  Famous last words. HOUSE is not little, and CLEANING is a never-ending proposition. After I finished vacuuming the floors, I realized I had better dust the furniture. When I finished dusting, I said maybe I better change the sheets on the bed. That only led me to realize I throw the sheets in the washing machine. Believe me! It’s never-ending!

Mlle. Renee does not like when I’m in house cleaning mode. I guess she thinks I’m going to dust her, vacuum her, or heaven forbid … WASH her. She does not like getting WET. So she spent the day running around the yard and rolling in the grass. But since the grass hasn’t started growing yet, she rolled in the zoysia thatch and ended up looking like a porcupine. Which meant I had yet another chore added to my never-ending list.  Dusting the dog, and wiping her down with Doggie Moist Towelettes.

QUICK, I NEED THE SATURDAY ORCHIDS:DSC09323

I just realized that now I have to wash myself before I can go to sleep in my clean bed!  It’s never-ending!

THE ORIGAMI BIRD FOR TODAY:  THE BLUE TOUCAN

For the life of me I could not remember what a toucan looked like. So I just followed the folding instructions I was given.DSC09475

How was I supposed to know that toucans weren’t blue.images

I tried to curve his bill a bit more, but that really doesn’t help.DSC09478

OMG! I just realized that I forgot to wash the dinner dishes. Maybe I can take them into the shower with me and kill two birds with one shower.  Probably, toucans!
