Well, since it didn’t rain today, (YET!) I spent the entire day mowing the front, back and side lawn. And I am pooped. And since the sun wasn’t shining and the temp had dropped into the forties, I did it wearing my old winter jacket. You just can’t win with the weather these days! Which is exactly what Mlle. Renee when she went into the house to take a nap on my bed where it is warm.DSC09800

Angel Baby is a stuffed Valentine Cupid that I gave my mother about 25-years ago. I was cleaning out one of the drawers about a month ago when Renee saw it and started begging for it. So I removed the tiny bow and arrow the cupid was carrying and gave him to her. For some reason Renee likes to own things that belonged to my mother. She also claimed an old sweater that my mother always wore that I was throwing into the Goodwill bag. I’m trying not to think about reincarnation.

Who can think about TARANTULA without thinking about …MovieT

Now this is what a real tarantula looks like …Tarantula

Did I ever mention that I hate furry, crawling things! Well, my origami tarantula really doesn’t look like that … even though it required forty-five separate folds and four scissor cuts.DSC09804

I have never folded anything that required that many individual folds. And I just know I’m going to dream about spiders when I go to bed tonight.

About Robert Edler

... a somewhat unknown and/or imaginary actor, writer, director, producer, photographer, friend, brother, uncle and all round good fellow that you really should get to know because he lives with that most glamorous fourpaw Mademoiselle Renee. (Mlle. Renee for short)

  1. I remember watching that movie when I was a little girl on the Friday night creature feature with Sir Cecil Creape. And it is sweatshirt weather here. I think Renee has connection with your Mother. They are both taking care of you.
