SOMETHING FROM THE OVEN!
Nothing says breakfast like something from the oven!
Hand-mixed and baked from my father’s original recipe … in the Betty Crocker Cookbook. Despite my mother’s many culinary talents, she never mastered making biscuits. It was my father who returning from Sunday morning mass would bake a batch of biscuits for the family breakfast. He would also use the left over dough to make a pan of mini-cinnamon and sugar buns.
This morning I woke up with the remembrance craving and I got out the old B.C.CB and whipped up a batch of heaven.
I also used the leftover dough to make mini-cinnamon sugar buns.
And I’ve got enough left over for four more breakfasts.
